Papua Police Hold Cross Sectoral Coordination Meeting for Christmas Security
In order to secure Christmas and New Year’s Day, Papua police held a cross-sectoral coordination meeting.
According to Papua Police Chief, Inspector General Boy Rafli Amar, the cross sectoral coordination meeting was carried out toanticipate disruption of peace and order in society, especially during Christmas and New Year.

Boy said that the coordination meeting also discussed the availability of fuel, food and transportation so that people celebrating Christmas can proceed with pleasure.
In order to optimize security to the community, Papua Police, along with its ranks, will carry out “Operation Lilin Matoa”.The Chairman of the Papua Religious Harmony Forum(FKUB), Pastor Lipus Biniluk, appreciates the implementation
of the coordination meeting with the involvement of various stakeholders including religious leaders. It will also hold meetings with members and pastors.
“With the synergy of security forces and the local government, we hope Christmas and New Year is celebrated safely and joy fully,” he said. Pertamina’s Marketing Manager for Retail Fuel MOR VIII Jayapura, Zivali Hisbul, guarantees that fuel supply in Jayapura’s depot is sufficient and requested people not to worry.
Al though fuel demand is predicted to increase by 1.5 percent, Pertamina is ready to distribute fuel according to the needs of the community. “We ask the public not to worry about fuel supply because the supply is still sufficient,” he explained.
