Improving Papua Provincial Government Performance Implement Income Improvement Allowance
To improve employee’s income within the context of discipline and support the performance of the State Civil Apparatus, the Government of Papua Province immediately implemented the granting of the Income Improvement Allowance (TPP) to its employees at the start of 2018.
This was confirmed by Papua Vice-Governor, Papua Provincial Government, Klemen Tinal, in Jayapura. According to him, this effort will be complemented by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), which is included in the e-Government.
According to him, TPP is the provision of honorariums in all the activities of regional apparatus organizations (OPD) will be eliminated. However, everything will be accumulated in the special income allowance for all employees.
“So if it was previously through certain activities, not all employees benefit from it and only a handful will enjoy it. But if the accumulation is for honorarium then everyone can benefit from it,” he said as quoted from papua.antaranews.com.
He added that this will increase employee’s income and the desire to do negative things, such as corruption, will hopefully not occur. Thus, it is expected to be a part in reducing corruption figures, especially in Papua’s Provincial government.
He said that indicators in observing TPP will later come from the involvement of all OPD leaders on employee’s attendance, with payment of salary depending on attendance, and what the employee’s discipline be when conducting his job.
Klemen asserted that indicators in observing TPP will later come from the involvement of all OPD leaders for employee’s attendance.
Among them, payment of salary will depend on attendance and what the employee’s discipline be when carrying out his job.
